Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ruvv website and services (collectively, the "Services"), operated by MYNZ LIMITED("ruvv", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in New Zealand. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Your consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited by agreement. Where any part of these Terms conflicts with such mandatory rights, those rights prevail.

The marketplace

ruvv is an online marketplace that connects buyers around the world with independent sellers offering fine jewellery and related goods—including 14K and 18K gold, silver 925, lab-grown diamonds and cubic zirconia. Many pieces are made to order in South Korea by sellers such as SEMI Jewelry. We operate the platform, payment facilitation where applicable, and certain fulfilment or quality-control coordination through our structure—including work performed by or through our subsidiary operations in Korea as described on our site. Unless expressly stated on a product page, ruvv is not the manufacturer of listed items; sellers are responsible for their listings subject to our policies. ruvv is the seller of record for orders placed through the Services.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise able to form a binding contract under the laws that apply to you, to make purchases. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

Orders, pricing & payment

Product descriptions, images and prices are provided by sellers. Prices are shown and charged in your local currency where supported (USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, NZD, CAD, JPY, KRW, SGD, HKD, CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK and AED); visitors from other countries see prices in US dollars. You can switch currency at the top of the page or in the footer. Delivery is charged as a separate flat amount per order, shown in your cart and at checkout. Prices do not include import duties, VAT/GST or other taxes and customs fees charged by your destination country (see Delivery, duties & taxes below). When you place an order, you offer to buy at the terms shown at checkout. We or the seller may refuse or cancel orders in limited cases (for example fraud checks, stock errors or an obvious pricing error), in which case any payment taken will be refunded in full.

Card payments are processed by Stripe in the currency shown at checkout. You agree to Stripe's terms where presented at checkout. Your card issuer may apply its own foreign-transaction or conversion fees. Additional payment methods (for example USDT) may have separate instructions and risks disclosed on the relevant payment pages; digital-asset payments are quoted in USD and are not refundable in digital assets.

Delivery, duties & taxes, and risk

We deliver worldwide. Delivery timelines and carriers are described in our Delivery policy. Title passes to you on delivery; risk of loss or damage in transit is carried by ruvv and the seller until the parcel is delivered to your address.

Import duties and taxes. Orders are shipped on a delivered-at-place (DAP) basis. Any import duties, VAT/GST, customs clearance or brokerage fees that your destination country charges are not included in the price or delivery charge and are the recipient's responsibility, payable to the carrier or customs authority on delivery. These charges vary by country and are set by local authorities, not by ruvv. Discretionary returns may involve separate return-shipping costs as stated in the Returns section below.

Returns, refunds & jewellery-specific limitations

Faulty or not as described. If an item is faulty, has a manufacturing flaw, was damaged in transit, or does not match its description, contact support with your order number and photos. Depending on the issue we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund, and we will cover the reasonable cost of returning the item. This is in addition to any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country of residence.

Change of mind. Because jewellery is often personalised, hygiene-sensitive (particularly earrings) or materially altered once worn, change-of-mind returns are accepted only where the listing or our support team confirms it, the item is unworn and in its original condition and packaging, and the request is made within the window stated on the listing (30 days unless stated otherwise). Certain items may be non-returnable where disclosed at purchase, to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.

Custom, made-to-order and personalised items. Products that are produced or customised to your specifications—including made-to-order, bespoke sizing, engraving, stone or design choices made for your order, or other per-order manufacturing—are not eligible for exchange or return for change of mind, fit or style preference, or subjective dissatisfaction, to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you. For these items, returns, refunds or replacements are limited to cases where the product is defective, has a manufacturing flaw, was damaged in transit, or is materially not as described in the listing.

Return costs (change-of-mind cases). Where a change-of-mind return or exchange is permitted, the costs of returning the item—including return shipping and insurance—are borne by the buyer, unless we or the seller expressly agree otherwise in writing for your order. Return costs for faulty or misdescribed items are covered by ruvv as described above.

Listings, authenticity & inspection

We aim to maintain accurate listings and may perform verification or inbound inspection steps as described on our website. Such steps do not constitute an independent gemmological certification unless explicitly stated for a specific item. Natural variation in handmade or natural materials may occur. Metal purity (for example 14K or 18K gold, or silver 925) and stone type (for example lab-grown diamond or cubic zirconia) are as stated on each listing.

Acceptable use

• No unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive use of the Services.
• No interference with security, automation abuse, or scraping beyond reasonable personal use.
• No resale or misuse of listing data to circumvent the marketplace.

Intellectual property

The Services, ruvv branding, and platform content we create are owned by us or our licensors. Seller-provided content remains the seller's responsibility. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our IP without permission except as allowed by law or limited licence for normal browsing.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject always to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability arising from these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss to the extent the law allows that exclusion.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MYNZ LIMITED and its affiliates, directors, and employees from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct or negligence, and only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires additional steps.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, or of any right you may have under those laws to bring proceedings in the courts of that country. If you have a complaint, please contact our support team first so we can try to resolve it directly.
