FAQ

Why is there no ID check (KYC)?

One reason only: ruvv does not create or control a custodial account for the user.

Centralized exchanges (CEX) like Binance / Upbit

The company holds and manages user funds. As regulation gets stricter, ID checks and deposit/withdraw reviews get heavier — ID upload, selfie, waiting. That is KYC.

Decentralized exchange ruvv (DEX)

ruvv does not touch user funds. The blockchain wallet itself proves ownership. When you use a locker at a supermarket, do you register your name or ID? You just set a code (your wallet) and store or take items right away. Same with ruvv — no signup form, connect a wallet, and trade immediately.

  • No name, national ID, or passport upload
  • No review queue and no deposit/withdraw wait from KYC
  • Connect wallet = the safest form of login

Remember one thing about wallets

Not a bank account — a digital keychain

MetaMask stores the keys that prove ownership of the assets. ruvv never asks for those keys and cannot copy them. Every transfer and trade runs only when the wallet owner approves it inside MetaMask.

Install MetaMask
The site asks. The wallet owner approves with the keys.

Do this

  • Install MetaMask only from metamask.io or the official app stores
  • Write the 12 secret recovery words on paper and keep them somewhere safe
  • On ruvv, tap Connect — then approve only inside your own MetaMask app

Never do this

  • The 12 words are the master key. Never share them with anyone
  • No real site asks you to type those 12 words. If it does, it is a scam
  • Never send them via KakaoTalk, Telegram, SMS, or email — and never screenshot them onto the device

How crypto trading setups differ

The stricter the rules, the harder big centralized exchanges become to use. Try a DEX where the user keeps sovereignty over the assets.

  • Where funds sit

    Inside the company’s accounts
    Inside the user’s personal wallet
  • ID check (KYC)

    Required (ID photo + wait)
    None (connect wallet and go)
  • Deposits & withdrawals

    Reviews, limits, possible delays
    Wallet-to-wallet, immediate
  • If the exchange fails

Funds can freeze or withdrawals stop
With the keys, funds can still be withdrawn
  • Where the market is heading

Regulatory risk keeps raising the barrier
Wallet trading as the clear alternative

Why ruvv, in the end

When centralized exchanges tighten,
the answer is the personal wallet

Instead of a structure that can block signup, KYC, or withdrawals at any time, wallet-native DEX trading is becoming the new standard. ruvv makes that path easy — with a familiar screen.

  • Defense against freezes and rule friction

Because the company does not custody user funds, exchange-side reviews and forced withdrawal stops are much easier to avoid.

  • Full sovereignty over assets

ruvv does not park user balances. Ownership stays with the user — so there is no reason to collect ID or personal data.

  • Familiar, powerful UI

Order book, live charts, leveraged perps — the tools people know from major exchanges. DEX security with CEX convenience.
